On our mission to aid positive change across the sports industry, the Executives in Sport Group created our social purpose programme – SportsReady.
SportsReady provides mentoring and career support to individuals from underrepresented communities, looking to build their careers in sport, whilst providing training and consultation to sports organisations who are serious about creating equitable and diverse pathways for diverse talent.
As part of the SportsReady programme we are proud to support Diversity in the Business of Sport (DiBS), a not-for-profit organisation with the mission of increasing representation of black, Asian and other underrepresented minority groups in the Sports Industry.
DiBs are creating a community of diverse sport business professionals. As a community, they run an annual mentoring programme to nurture talent. We’ve been providing support to the individuals within their community, hosting 121 consultations to DiBs mentees, covering career advice, CV writing tips, insights on market trends / opportunities and more.
We’re excited to see these future leaders develop their profile and careers in sport. Levelling the playing field and helping sports organisations to win, on and off the pitch.
