Darren is Managing Director and founded the Executives In Sport Group in 2012. Passionate about a wide range of sports, but also diversity in sport, he launched the social purpose programme, SportsReady, as a way to help talented individuals from under-represented communities to secure opportunities in sport.

Leading on C-level, Senior, Director and Chair assignments across sports business and high performance, Darren’s built an enviable network of senior and emerging leaders in sport who trust him with their key hiring requirements.

Passionate about delivering legacy, he’s committed to helping sports organisations win through finding their best ever employees — and helping talented high potential individuals find roles where they can stretch and grow.

Away from work, you’ll find Darren following his son’s football journey at a Premier League Pre-Academy and his daughter’s development in basketball. If there’s any time left he’ll be at the County Ground watching Swindon Town or the Ageas Bowl supporting Hampshire and the Southern Brave.

Davey is our Operations Director. He plays a key role in our business, looking after leadership executive search processes for our clients; he also works tirelessly to ensure our internal processes and training are industry leading.

His drive to ensure we’re ‘insight led’ in our approach with all clients and individuals is well known. He leads weekly sessions with our consultants and researchers to discuss recent events in sports business and high performance — and what this means for the stakeholders we work with.

Davey has a Master’s Degree in Sports Management and spent time as a Sports Management Teaching Fellow at the University of Portsmouth before taking up his current role.

Tom is one of our most experienced Senior Consultants, having delivered leadership talent for sports organisations globally for over a decade.

With a genuine passion for all things tech, events and stadia related, Tom’s built an unrivalled network, and typically delivers executive search assignments including Chief Operating Officers, Operations Director, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Finance Directors, Stadium Managers and more.

Outside of work, Tom can usually be found spending time with his two daughters or enjoying a relaxing, and often challenging, day on the golf course.

Laura is our Commercial Operations Manager and the glue that holds the Executives in Sport Group together.

No task too big, no job too small, Laura is passionate about driving excellence throughout the company to the benefit of our clients.

With a broad remit across Marketing, HR, Finance and IT, she’s a genuine team player.  A Netball fanatic, Laura gets particularly excited when we work with England Netball and the Netball Super League. Her favourite moment to date was watching the Roses defeat Australia to win their first ever Commonwealth Gold.

Eddie is a key Consultant and delivers leadership searches across partnership sales, commercial, business development and communications.

In addition to his client side responsibilities, he is the first point of contact for new business development across Europe — and is currently building out our US practice.

Holding a Masters Degree in Sports Management, Eddie’s main passion is American Football; he has played Linebacker to a high standard as well as being a dedicated Baltimore Ravens fan.

Beth is Lead Researcher for our projects within women’s sport across both business and high performance. Tasked with identifying high-potential, leadership, and emerging talent she works on a global basis across a wide range of sports.

With a BSc degree in Sport and Exercise Therapy, and an unmistakable talent and passion for football, Beth’s combination of experiences underscores her work ethos. Characterised by an unwavering dedication to teamwork, boundless passion, and an unyielding pursuit of excellence, Beth stands at the forefront of driving progress and equality in the realm of sports on and off the pitch.

Harry joined EISG in January 2023. A true sports fanatic, when he’s not busy finding game-changing talent for our clients, he’s trying to deliver game-changing moments for his cricket and hockey teams; playing to a very high standard in both.

Harry’s core focus is high-performance, tasked with mapping sports teams on a global scale. He identifies the rising stars and emerging talent across areas including talent ID, player recruitment, data science, data analytics, medical, S&C and psychology.

A massive Southampton FC fan, he once held the record for being the Saints season ticket holder who lived furthest away from the ground (11,500 miles) whilst living in New Zealand.

Madhu is an experienced Researcher who keeps all our projects on track. A ‘data guru,’ she ensures that we have the right data and intelligence on both clients and individuals at all times. One of her key responsibilities is delivering a daily tracker, detailing everyone who moves in and out of over 500 companies across sport, media and entertainment.

She holds a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Marketing and has spent over ten years honing her research skills — ensuring that we keep ahead of the curve at all times.

Away from work Madhu’s big passion is cricket. She was in the crowd as India lifted the 2011 World Cup. In the IPL she’s an avid Chennai Super Kings fan. CSK, CSK!

Aman is an accomplished Researcher at EISG, known for his expertise in data management. He takes pride in furnishing recruitment consultants with crucial, readily accessible insights through meticulous data analysis.

Armed with a first-class bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Fitness Management, Lena thrives in elite customer-focused environments. Her steadfast passion, insatiable curiosity, and unwavering dedication ensure rigorous and comprehensive talent discovery and assessment.

Beyond her exemplary work assists Lena’s commitment to sport is evident through her on-field assists! She has represented both Oxford United Women’s First Team and Portsmouth Football Club Women’s Development Team, securing two international caps against Australia and Scotland.
