About:

Ospreys, a prominent Welsh rugby union club, boasts an impressive history securing four league titles over the past 18 years. Beyond their on-field achievements, the club has nurtured rugby talent at all levels, irrespective of gender. To complement their on-field success, Ospreys recognised the need to strengthen their off-field capabilities by recruiting a dedicated Partner Relationship Manager as their roster of highly engaged partners grew.

Challenge:

Ospreys embarked on an ambitious mission to elevate the status of rugby union, a sport they believed was undervalued. Their strategic initiatives expanded the organisation’s influence, stretching across Europe and venturing into emerging rugby markets in the Middle and Far East. This expansion unlocked exciting, untapped collaboration opportunities with partners unrivalled in the world of rugby union.

To fully capitalise on these opportunities, Ospreys sought a dynamic and proactive Partner Relationship Manager capable of seamless integration into their team. This individual would play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing partnerships, ensuring the effective delivery of partnership benefits, and providing exceptional service to all Ospreys’ commercial associates.

The ideal candidate for this role would bring a proven track record of effective partner account management, hailing from diverse sectors including sports, music, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), or media.
