WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR//
A leading global sport organisation have an exciting opportunity for someone to join their media department in Manchester. They’re looking for a Video Editor to play a key role in producing content alongside their clients – some of the world’s largest sports organisations.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING//
You will play an important role in the creative team, working client side within the production and curation of content for their website and social channels.
You’ll understand what looks good in sports videos and be up to date with the latest trends in social content, understanding how your content will be viewed and what people really want to see.
Day to take you will be taking live footage to edit into compelling and attention-grabbing content, but you will also make use of the organisations extensive archive and become an expert on using this to create something new.
Be able to take a creative brief to capture the required shots and creative thinking and implementation for commercial content across all digital platforms including their website, YouTube channel and social media. You will need to stay ahead of the game, so timeliness is imperative.
· Working alongside the whole media team, to generate attention-grabbing & original content
· Publishing and uploading new and engaging content
· Support the London content and video teams with tasks such as fly-on-the-wall pieces, challenge based content and general training footage.
THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED//
Advanced video editing skills including a clear understanding of audio and colour correction.
Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
Must have an encyclopaedic knowledge of football
Experience in the sport industry is desirable, but not essential
Experience in producing professional video using DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
Must have strong track record of producing powerful content.
Knowledge and experience of all digital media, including social media.
