Job Description


A progressive and forward-thinking sports organisation are looking for a hands-on and determined Sponsorship Manager to manage partner relationships, lead on activation management and grow fan engagement through strategic partnerships.



Working alongside the Commercial Director, you will take the lead on managing relationships with the organisations key partners and seeking to develop and grow these partnerships. You will have a keen eye for detail and be incredibly organised as you keep on top of the delivery of contractual rights. You will be working closely alongside partners to create engaging and unique marketing campaigns, in line with both parties’ values and strategic aims.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Marketing activities including planning and logistics, event branding and marketing literature, hospitality and digital campaigns
  • Working with partners and their agencies to create engaging and compelling marketing campaigns to promote the partnership
  • Working with the organisation and the partners digital team to create a unique digital/content strategy of mutual benefit in order to grow all social media channels
  • Managing partner activation at events and proactively working with partners to seek new and innovative ways to engage with fans at events
  • Setting up reporting and communication processes to ensure regular correspondence with partners and relevant internal areas of the business
  • Implementing consistent brand image across all partner marketing activity ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Providing regular input on all partner activity, including weekly status reports and updates
  • Providing assistance with other tasks across the marketing, commercial and events team



  • Experience working in sponsorship management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to create new ideas for strategic & digital content
  • Flexibility for working in a small team with several different tasks
  • Ability to maintain close constructive working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload
  • Ability to remain calm when under pressure and work to strict deadlines
  • Ideally you will have experience working in a sport-based organisation
