We are currently working with a leading sports club based in London, who are looking for a Senior Events and Travel Manager. In this role, you will help organise a range of interesting, high profile and complex events for the club. You will also be responsible for booking travel arrangements for a range of personnel across the club, including the Director's, senior management and playing and coaching staff.

In a diverse role, you will organise and run a broad range of events that will include; community events, fundraisers, fan engagement, presentations, dinners and functions, making sure that the events run smoothly from an operational and logistical perspective. This will involve working with a number of key stakeholders and departments across the business, as well as external agencies.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, highly experienced Events professional, who has vast experience working with large scale events in the sports industry.

What you will be doing:

  • Organising, managing and delivering a range of events and functions across the club.
  • Managing proposals with excellent budget management.
  • Booking relevant event spaces and organising food and beverage, catering, staffing, equipment and operations.
  • Overseeing operations and logistics during events. Including liaison with vendors and dealing with any on-site issues.
  • Being a key point of liaison for a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Reviewing the success of the events and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Organising of travel across the entire club, including senior management and playing and coaching staff.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience managing high profile, large scale events
  • Experience running a large-scale team at events
  • Experience organising travel for large-scale, national and international events
  • The ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • The ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines within a high-intensity environment
