WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR//

A prestigious sports organisation near Cambridge, with offices across the country are seeking an Event Sales Manager to drive forward the organisation’s new business sales and customer base.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING//

Leading the sales team to sell the conference and events space you will be the focal point to develop new business within the department. You’ll be supporting your senior team with the annual budget and having an input with financial planning to help formulate your strategic sales plan, maximising revenue is the key here! You’ll be in the know when it comes to industry, seasonal and local trends, sharing your expertise with the team to help the department thrive. Account management is crucial, with your own high standards mirroring that of the organisation you and your team will ensure you hit all commercial opportunities from key accounts and will work with catering and hospitality teams, making sure they meet these expectations to give your client a brilliant experience from start to finish.

 

THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED//

  • Experience in Conference or Event sales and least 2 years in a sales management position
  • Have held responsibility for a sales team
  • Previous experience of developing and growing business, particularly in new business development
