A fantastic new role has arisen for a proven Partnership Manager specialist to join a leading sports organisation in the Gloucestershire area.
This a broad sales role that will challenge you to generate new sources of revenue across all areas of the business, including advertising, sponsorship, hospitality and attendance at events.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING//
You will use your excellent knowledge of the area coupled with the pre-existing relationships you have with local businesses to hit the ground running, ensuring that you get in front of decision makers as quickly as possible and have an immediate pipeline of potential opportunities. In addition, you will be confident in your ability to generate leads from scratch; prospecting for new business and making cold-calls as and when required.
As well as selling existing products and services, you will also use your industry understanding and competitor knowledge to work closely with senior management in the creation of new propositions.
THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED//
To be considered for this position it is essential that you are a self-motivated and driven business to business sales professional with a demonstrable success of selling a broad range of services. Ideally you would have experience of working in a sporting venue and have an excellent understanding of the commercial world in this environment.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent negotiator, a master at handling objections and a strong communicator able to pitch and present to senior levels in business.
