We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading sponsorship agency in London, who are recruiting for a Head of Sponsorship Sales to be responsible for selling the rights of one of their leading sports properties - a major sports event coming to the UK.

This is a permanent position and once the event is complete, you will continue to work on selling the rights for the rest of their properties.

We are looking for an experienced sponsorship sales professional who has proven track record in securing high value six figure and seven figure sponsorship/partnership deals in the sports industry.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To Lead on the full sales cycle from research, initial contact, presentation, negotiation and signing of contract.
  • Proactively prospect, armed with insight and research, to attract potential sponsor matches for the leading sports property.
  • Present well researched and tailored insight-led sponsorship propositions for relevant brand sponsors that put the sponsorship rights and benefits at the centre of the delivery of their brand.
  • To host prospect brands at events

To be successful, you will have:

  • A proven track record of securing sponsorship/partnership deals in the sports industry.
  • Experience sourcing and closing six to seven figure sponsorship deals in the sports industry.
  • Experience working for either a rights holder or agency and securing sponsorship deals.
  • Fantastic communication and negotiation skills.
