WHO THEY ARE & WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR//

A leading London based sports marketing / digital agency with a core focus on football, who support both clubs and brands on a global scale with a heavy focus on short form video. They’re looking for a Head of Media Sales to lead the international growth of their video platform.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING//

With a product boasting unrivalled access compared to competitors it will be your job to seek to further monetise the content and drive its international growth and deployment. Your day to day role will focus on signing up online publishers to host the companies video player with the aim to spread their content worldwide. A real people person, you will use your excellent interpersonal skills to reach decision makers (often at editor level) and build relationships, schedule meetings and present the company in a compelling manner to get a partnership over the line. You will often be travelling in this role, both nationally and internationally to get in front of key personnel in the companies targeted partners. Working alongside the content, video, social and data teams you will ensure a seamless onboarding process for all new partners. It won’t just be selling though, as for large deals you will perform an account management role; making sure all elements of a deal are being carried out and capitalising on opportunities to up-sell the company’s products and services to grow the partnership.

 

THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED//

  • Must have experience in a media/digital sales role
  • Proven experience selling to online publishers
  • Experience in content distribution
  • Ideally you will have a black book of senior contacts in online publishers
  • Must have experience in the running of outbound marketing campaigns
  • Top level presenting and negotiation skills and ability to influence at a senior level
  • Strong understanding of how social media works
