General Manager - Catering
Our client, a leading sporting and leisure venue on the south-coast, are looking for a Catering General Manager to oversee all food, beverage and retail catering operations at their site which hosts a diverse range of events, conferences and functions throughout the year.
An experience General Manager, ideally from the sport or leisure environment, you will ensure that all operations are run as efficiently and effectively as possible, that standards across all departments are maintained, and that exceptional levels of service are delivered at all times.
This a broad management position which will require excellent people management skills, superior knowledge of all catering operations (both front and back of house) and the ability to manage significant budgets and stock. You will be responsible for all health, safety and food preparation matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant policy and legislation at all times.
Being a site that hosts events attracting 1000's of people at time it is essential that you have experience in a high footfall leisure venue with multiple catering propositions.
This position would ideally suit somebody who has worked in a large 'high-quality' venue where they have proven themselves to be able to lead by example and to make positive changes to the level of service quality.
