£50,000 to £60,000 + benefits (dependent on experience)

If you've ever wanted to work in a finance role for a large sporting venue that hosts a variety of large scale events throughout the year, then it's likely this opportunity will be of interest to you.
We're keen to hear from anybody in a Financial Controller position, or closely related role, who has experience of working in a sports venue, events management or hospitality environment, and wants to take on a new and exciting challenge on an extremely exciting and dynamic site.
Managing a small team, you will be responsible for all accounts and reporting, providing advice to senior management as and when required.
In addition, you will have a broad range of other responsibilities which will include, but by no means be limited to, delivering Management Accounts, monitoring accounting procedures, managing debts, helping to prepare the P&L accounts and assisting with forecasting. A detailed job spec will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- A recognised accounting qualification
- Experience working in a similar senior finance related position
- Experience working in sport, leisure, events or hospitality environment
- People management experience
