Customer Insights Manager
Salary negotiable dependant on experience
We're actively seeking a Customer / Consumer Insights Manager, ideally with people management experience and good technical data foundations, to join a dynamic, forward thinking Manchester based organisation as an integral part of their business intelligence team.
In this role you will be responsible for the sales and marketing insights function within the organisation. You will analyse data from a variety of source, in order to deliver projects that will help inform marketing decisions and have a significant impact on business change and transformation.
You will have a background in Insights, ideally with a foundation in data analysis and skills in SQL, SAS and / or SPSS, with experience of managing and interpreting large volumes of data from databases and other sources, and a love of working in a fast paced environment
You will take ownership of projects, produce reports, make recommendations and communicate findings to all internal and external stakeholders where necessary.
As part of the role you will help inform on campaign selections and therefore you will have proven experience in this area, along with the knowledge of how to report on these campaigns once they are complete. You will also assist in the development of customer, brand, product and promotional strategy.
A great relationship builder, you will be comfortable working with internal stakeholders and happy working as part of a diverse team. You will ideally have some proven people management experience as you will be expected to take a lead role in the department.
Whilst a key aspect of the role will involve data interpretation you will need to be creative in your thinking, providing recommendations based on findings and being able to see the impact this may have as part of the bigger organisational picture.
The ideal candidate for this position will have proven insight experience, ideally gained in a high volume business to consumer environment such as retail, hospitality, venues or tourist attractions. It is essential that you have excellent analytical skills, with good IT knowledge and a proven ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative data.
You will be degree educated, have proven relationship / stakeholder management experience and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in SAP / CRM modules would be advantageous.
